Colorado kids can "open enroll" into hundreds of public schools. The steps below will guide you in the process of finding and open enrolling your child in a public school outside of your attendance area.

Note about transportation: When you enroll your student in a public school other than your neighborhood school, transportation may not be provided. The federal No Child Left Behind law requires some schools to offer transportation for enrolled students to attend higher-performing schools.
