Colorado Non-Public School Resources

Private, parochial (religious), and independent are terms used to describe non-public schools that are privately-funded. Tuition payments are required.

• SchoolChoiceForKids.org lists Colorado non-public schools and their addresses, maps of the areas, phone numbers, Web sites (when available), grade levels served, and religious affiliation. • The Private School Review allows you to search by zip code, town, county, or several school types: Blue Ribbon (award-winning), All-girls, All-boys, Boarding, Montessori, or Day care. The site offers information about student-teacher ratio, admission deadlines, and demographic data about the surrounding zip code.
• The National Center for Education Statistics' private school search lists private schools by city and includes demographic data such as number of students and teachers, and enrollment by race and ethnicity.
• GreatSchools.net lists both public and private schools by city or school district. The site provides basic information about each school and gives the opportunity for parents and students to rate schools.
• Colorado Schools Guides provides a fee-based searchable database of detailed information about Colorado private schools, Denver metro area child care and preschools, and Denver metro area public schools.
